I genuinely love this job. It has taken me around the world to places and cultures I might never otherwise have known, and in many ways it reminds me of my military experience. It is more than a job; it becomes a way of life.

Every production begins another journey: new challenges, remarkable people, lasting friendships and the shared excitement of knowing that what we are creating could blow an audience away.

I value the camaraderie with the soldiers, actors and supporting artists, and the trust placed in me by producers, directors and stunt coordinators. With that trust comes responsibility and a determination to deliver. My expectation is always the same: whatever is asked of us, we are going to nail it.

Months later, watching the finished result on screen brings an enormous sense of pride, not only in what the audience sees, but in everything behind it: the preparation, teamwork, pressure, laughter, friendships and shared belief that we were creating something special.

There is also a special sense of pride when someone asks, “Did you work on that?” In that moment, all the memories we created come flooding back — the people, the locations, the challenges and everything it took to bring that world to the screen.

It is an extraordinary role to have, and one I would never have imagined existed as a child. Somehow, life led me into this remarkable world, and I still feel fortunate to be part of it.
